UP-COMING PRODUCTION

Those Last Moments | 2020 (Producer)

Over this last year, I have been extremely lucky to have been apart of an incredible World War 2 short film. It has given me the opportunity to expand my understanding and develop key skills in producing, through my last year at Portsmouth University.

'Those last Moments' follows the life of Stanley Moore, a soldier on the battlefield struggling to centre his last moments of life on the cusp of death. Throughout this film we see Stanley travel through the complexities of life and family. With revelations being opened, do we see Stanley get the closure he's seeking? Or will he be left in the open with no end?

I had a wonderful time during this production with a unique crew and cast, who embodied professionalism and fun! I learnt an incredible amount about producing and the extent that particular role entailed. I also had fun in the experience of costume and prop finding.

Before being a part of this film, my experience in producing wasn't as extensive as it is now and I have managed to progress my understanding in many fields of the industry alongside my extensive team. I had the unbelievable opportunity to work alongside a professional actor and make-up artist, who told me of their experiences and previous work, which gave me a greater understanding.

WHATS NEXT...

Call for expressions of interest

The National Memorial Arboretum is hosting an exhibition for artists who work in digital media. My team and I from 'Those Last Moments' 2020, plan to enter into this exhibition and to continue to work on the theme of WW2. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to show another light to the war and centre this around VJ DAY (1945)

"Looking at producing a new body of work inspired by [...] the impact the second world war has on today's society and culture.". This is also an incredible way for us to showcase our work in a format that would bring a lot of respect to those who fought in the war and their families.
